Starlab's spacetech division is experienced in the analysis and design of unconventional radar systems: focusing of highly squinted SAR data, squinted along-track SAR interferometry, design of bistatic radar systems relying on GNSS as sources of opportunity, etc.

Starlab has provided consultancy for a variety of ESA and European Commission projects devoted to the study of innovative radar concepts, such as Wavemill (Ocean Surface Current Mission Study, dual-beam along-track SAR interferometer for ocean surface movement monitoring), or PARIS (Passive Reflectometry and Interferometry System). Moreover, it has contributed to the definition of proof of concept campaigns (both ground-based and airborne), and to campaign data processing.
